The Apprenticeship program has been an ideal choice for me, offering a practical way to blend hands-on, in-practice learning with structured academic coursework and exams. This path has enabled me to continue working at NNA while advancing my academic studies. While this option demands additional effort to balance course requirements with practical work, it presents a viable alternative to traditional educational routes.
As a mature apprentice with financial commitments like a mortgage, the opportunity to earn a salary while pursuing further studies has been invaluable. The Apprenticeship structure has provided daily opportunities to learn meaningful and new skills on the job, which I might not have gained through a university education. I’ve also benefited from the support of an excellent apprenticeship mentor and many other knowledgeable professionals, all of whom which I can seek guidance from at short notice.
I highly recommend this pathway to those who wish to remain in practice during their studies. It's a fantastic program that I am confident will contribute significantly to my development into a well-rounded architect upon completion of the course.
