Health and Safety Mandatory Testing – Continuing Professional Development

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is introducing a mandatory health and safety test for Architects in 2025, aimed at reinforcing Architects' understanding of their professional responsibilities and the ethical standards necessary for designing safe environments. The test will help Chartered Architects refresh their knowledge of essential safety practices, reminding them that safety should be a priority throughout all project phases.

At Nicholson Nairn Architects, we’re dedicated to supporting our clients and their projects by ensuring that our employees are always trained to the highest standard. We have implemented comprehensive training programs and provide valuable resources to enhance our team’s understanding of Health and Safety Regulations and best practices.

This also aligns to our newly received ISO 9001:2015 Accreditation where we ensure staff maintain the highest technical competencies. By promoting a culture of continuous learning alongside our in-house CPD series, we are committed to keeping the safety and well-being of our clients, colleagues, and community at the forefront of our work. Our aim is to not only to enhance our knowledge as a practice but in doing so also to contribute positively to the industry as a whole.
