Quality has always been paramount here at Nicholson Nairn Architects, we continuously strive to provide high quality architectural design. We are a practice which provides client specific solutions from modest home extensions to multi-million pound commercial projects. We are strategically diverse and our work centres around our client focused ethos. We decided to obtain our ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 accreditation as a way of demonstrating this against the Internationally recognised standards for various aspects of Business Operations – ISO. Here are a few reasons it was important to us to obtain such a prestigious accreditation:
- Quality Assurance – By achieving this ISO 9001:2015 Accreditation it helps to demonstrate that we have effective quality management systems in place. This is something we continuously look to improve upon to ensure our Clients receive a quality service, increased satisfaction and a consistent processes regardless of who their Project Architect or Director is.
- Operational Efficiency – This standard promotes process efficiency and effectiveness, this is important to us as it streamlines our operations allowing us to spend more time on the things we love – Architectural Design!
- Risk Management - ISO 9001:2015 incorporates a risk-based approach, this is important to ensure we identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact quality. This proactive approach to risk management will help lead to more resilient and adaptable business processes. This is important to us, NNA has been trading for over 30 years in the North East, with a secure Yorkshire base established over 5 years ago. We take risk management seriously to ensure we can provide a consistent and stable practice for our employees and clients.
- Environmental Impact Reduction – Here at NNA we take a serious approach to sustainability not only through the impact we make as a practice but also within each of our projects. The ISO14001:2015 standard has helped us to systematically manage our environmental responsibilities, this in turn is leading to a reduction in our environmental footprint. This includes managing waste, reducing emissions, and conserving resources, which contributes to environmental sustainability.
Essentially our ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 accreditation helps us to showcase our strong foundation for quality management and environmental impact reduction, which inevitably leads to improved performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term success through our hard work and determination.
