NNA were commissioned to design a contemporary single storey extension, new porch and internal alterations to an existing 19th century dwelling in the Pool in Wharfedale Conservation Area.  Glazed walls, sliding doors, internal set steel frame and dark grey zinc roofing provide a light touch design approach to ensure the existing dwelling design is not compromised. 

 

A new feature chimney, formed in dark blue handmade dutch bricks provides an anchor to the new sunroom, while connecting the design to the existing dwellings large scale chimneys.
