Situated at a prominent corner plot on the exclusive Runnymede Road, a modest and tired traditional bungalow has been transformed into a contemporary high-end dwelling.

The existing roof of the bungalow was removed and replaced with new integrating modern dormers to form a sizable First Floor area.  A large two storey extension was built to the rear of the property, carefully positioned within the triangular corner plot. We worked carefully to ensure this significant footprint increase worked within the parameters of the Darras Hall Estates Committee’s Planning byelaws.  This exercise was carried out in conjunction with ensuing mature trees within the site were duly protected and retained.

The use of white render and dark framed windows and doors provide the property with a contemporary aesthetic, and one that sits extremely well within its setting.
