Situated on the exclusive Batt House Road, this beautiful period property has been significantly enhanced with an extension and full remodel of the existing property.

This charming arts and crafts mansion required significant works to create a home which is suitable for the modern family. This included partial demolition and a full renovation and significant extensions to the side and rear of the house, complete with remodelling the landscaping. The client made the decision to keep elements of the existing house which radiated character and architectural history, such as the turret to the main elevation, original staircase and the exposed timber features.

 

It was important that the design respected the history of the property whilst creating a large luxury home which offers spacious living accommodation over two floors and a half floors. It was also important that the extension provided a large open plan kitchen, living and dining room with uninterrupted views out over the sizable and mature garden.
