This full renovation and extension transforms a tired split-level home into a timeless farmhouse-inspired design, nestled within the Greenbelt and Nidderdales Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Harrogate.

Stripping away unsympathetic 1980s additions, we reshaped the internal layout and introduced robust, high-quality materials rooted in local tradition. A new lower ground extension replaced the former UPVC conservatory—creating a light-filled kitchen and dining space that opens to sweeping southern views.  The split-level design became a key advantage, allowing natural light into the lower plan, through a feature rooflight at the upper main entrance level.

The windows were reconfigured to introduce farmhouse proportions, while the entire envelope was upgraded for thermal efficiency, complete with solar panels and air source heat pump.
